ASSERTIVE / SHORT-NOTICE COVERAGE

Temporary & Short-Notice Security Guard Coverage

Temporary and short-notice requests are handled through 24/7 dispatch at (818) 301-8883. There is no guaranteed response time: every request is assessed individually, and coverage depends on the assignment's requirements and available staffing.

How a Short-Notice Request Works

  • Call 24/7 dispatch at (818) 301-8883, or request a quote online and our team will call you.
  • Our team reviews the location, duties, hours and any requirements you describe.
  • Availability and a start time are confirmed with you by phone for that specific assignment.
  • Pricing is discussed in the same conversation. Assertive does not publish rates or automated estimates.
  • No long-term commitment is required.

What to Have Ready When You Call

How Availability and Start Time Are Confirmed

Start times are not promised before the request is reviewed. Our team confirms availability and when coverage can begin directly with you, based on the location, duties and requirements of the assignment.

If details change after the call, such as hours, duties or the site contact, tell dispatch so the assignment can be updated.

If a Fire Watch Is Involved

Whether a fire watch is required, and what it must include, is decided by the local fire authority having jurisdiction, not by Assertive. Confirm the requirements with that authority and share them when you call.

The Fire Watch Guide explains who sets requirements in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties and includes a sample log sheet.
